From My Kitchen to Yours: Ground Beef Specialty 

Ground beef specialty is a family favorite. In most Diné families, there are many relatives to feed, so cooking up a big batch of ground beef specialty is a must. During harvesting season, when everyone is tired and fulfilled from picking corn and squash, this go-to meal uses the vegetables from our gardens and cornfields to nourish us. This is our soul food. Meals like this, shared around tables with our loved ones, also nourishes the spirit and keeps us moving forward together. From my kitchen to yours, I hope you enjoy this meal the way my family does.
